Mr Giblin jet setting rugby star!

Hampton Academy School Sport Coordinator Mr Giblin, jets off to Philadelphia this week to play in the St Patrick’s Day Rugby League Test Match for Ireland against USA

Students may know Mr Giblin from the Hampton Academy PE department and as their Rugby coach, but he is also an International Rugby League player. He has represented Ireland and Great Britain Students, Great Britain Amateurs and now flies over to the states to be capped for Ireland.

Mr Giblin began playing Rugby in school in local competitions and went on to play for Doncaster and then Harlequins RL as well as travelling to Australia three times to play international matches.
