Claire Allan
London-born Claire has represented England at six levels, U18, U19, Academy, A, Sevens and seniors, for whom she has won 20 caps and scored nine tries, with her overseas CV including Sevens in Rome, Amsterdam, San Diego, Dubai, her favourite ground, and Germany. She said: “My positive memory is beating the Black Ferns in Amsterdam in 2008 with a downside of losing to Australia in the IRB World Cup Sevens last year.”
Hannah Beharry
Determined to challenge her critics, she demonstrated the passion and ability to compete as a serious contender in amateur boxing and has since achieved status as one of the top female boxers in the UK.
At 23, she has taken control of her life and is not only aiming for gold but acting as a strong role model for local communities by promoting boxing in schools
Claire Bennett
A full-time fencer for Great Britain, with the aim of qualifying for the 2012 Olympic Games. Claire is also an aspiring journalist who has already written for The Telegraph and the Evening Standard.
