Our Olympic Ambassadors Jack and Holly have selected two local Olympians for Hampton Academy students to follow. The two Medal hopefuls that Hampton Academy will be supporting are Mo Farah and Jess Walker. Mo Farah has just won Gold in the indoor international athletics and Jess Walker is a former student of Hampton Community College. Check out the Olympian biographies below

Interesting facts: Jessica grew up in two places, Brighton and Hampton Hill. She went to school in Hampton, going to Hampton Hill junior school, and rectory grove, or as it is known now, Hampton Academy. She is the youngest ever British female Olympian to ever participate in an event. Her first event was the K2 500M in Beijing. She came 17th.

Interesting facts: Mo was born in Somalia, but is a British civilian. He has supported Arsenal football club since a very early age. He is a married man, married to long time partner in running and in love, Tania Nell. They married in Marble Hill, Richmond. He has one daughter, Rihanna. In his career, he has won a total of 6 gold medals, 2 silvers and 1 bronze.
